bagel bite bliss

There are some foods that im just a sucker for, i.e. bagel bites. I dont know what god of a man invented bagel bites but he/she is at the top of my list of favorite people. I cant tell you what it is about bagel bites that makes them so good, only that if you havent tried them, ya need to. Anyways, so I was eating dinner (ten bucks to the person who can tell me what I was eating) and you guessed it, bagel bites. And I am eating and I suddenly get depressed as I realize I have only one solitary bagel bite left, and that I am eating it. (Yes, it is sad that I can get depressed over a lack of food, but whatever) So I finish my great bagel bite and am about to throw away my plate, when low and behold... One bagel bite remains!!! I dont know how i didnt see it but its there just the same. And believe you me, there is no better way to make you happy than discovering you have one more bagel bite... quoteoftheday- "I'm tired of everyone talking like i was a pizza."

Go, rain, GO!

aha! currently there is this liquidy substance secreting from the sky (aka rain!) so yeah. its started to sprinkle and i went outside to look at the rain, but then it started to rain harder and i was too lazy and to aww struck by the falling water to actaully get up and go inside. thus i stayed out there whilst it was pouring. before it started pouring, but after it started sprinkiling my brother decided to join me. we just sat and laughed as my idiot dog attempted to eat every falling rain drop... then it really started to pour and my dad came out to tell us to get out of the rain. little did either of us know that he had underlying motives. as soon as he got close to us, he threw us both in the pool. which made little difference to the state i was already in. but the water was really warm and we both swam around for a few minutes until this big 455 bolt of lighting went across the sky and we figured it was time to go inside. topic change, did anyone watch the lift off of discovery (in think thats its name at least)? they say the shuttle hit a bird. probably earths not so natural way of natural selection. hey does anyone know why i cant hit the enter bar? instead of skipping a line, nothing happens. it sucks, i wanna make paragraphs. well not really, but i'd at least like the option of making a paragraph. and great, its six i still havent done any of my homework... im so screwing myself *sighs* ummm thats it... quoteoftheday- "He thrusts his fists onto the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts."

short post! w00t

okay... another post about my boring life. though i promise i'll make it shroter than my usual posts. today was a day to be remembered, i acutally did something productive, crazy, i know. me and my sister went to the mall and i bought my brother his birthday present. Burnout 3, i hope he likes it, im not really sure. oh we drove (and by we i mean I) down to arrowhead. it was fun cuz ive never driven to arrowhead before. i have gone farther, just never to that specific destiniation. anways though we then went to the outlet malls and i got to practice parking a million times. ive had my permit since february but i still have trouble parking my F150, i can park the suburban okay, but the ford has absolutely no turning radius, so parking is made difficult. i have no idea how to parrallel park, which sucks cuz i take my drivers test on july 28th, two days from now... anyways thats all that really happened. i need to go to bed soon though, tomorrow im making myself start my AP homework.

Procreation Laws

well basically sense i still dont get the whole "point" of these blogs i just take camerons advice on what to write. and he told me i should post my many opinions that contradict what most believe. entonces... the topic of the day is procreation laws. see i hate the arguing with people about abortion, there is just no point, neither side will ever decide to change their minds. It is said that you should never debate politics or religion, i would like to add abortion to this. the topic just makes people crazy. my good friend emily (some of you know her, some dont) is against abortion in every way. i, myself, am not fond of the idea but if forced to pick a side would choose pro-choice. one day, just to stir things up, i get her talking about abortion. and i proudly come up with a hypothetical situation in which i believe it would be impossible for her to say "ashley, you still shouldnt have an abortion." i asked her what if, i was a 25 year old widow, with a little girl (with no living gaurdians to take care of her in the event of my death) pregnant, with a child who was absolutely 100% going to be completely retarded- almost vegetable like state if born, the birth will most certainly kill me, the child was conceived through a rape, and my daughter would have to live in an orphanage if i died in birth. would it then be okay to have an abortion... emily's response, "no." so i ask her if the decision was in her hands... if she had the choice of allowing me an abortion or telling me i had to go through with the birth (which would result in my DEATH) what would she choose. "you should have the baby" I was mortified by this. you see i have known emily since the 5th grade. we're best friends. if/when i get married she'll prolly be the maid of honor, and she's telling me she'd kill me. fairly shocking, but just goes to show you, how serious an issue this is. well anywyas i have found the perfect solution that will appease everybody, i think. we just need procreation laws. a license if you will. i mean, we license people to drive, to fish, to hunt. to own a f*cking dog, but not to raise a child? keep in mind my idea cant go into immediate affect because we just dont have the technology, but i have faith that given time and effort we will be able to conceivably do this. i think that at birth every male (or female, doesnt matter which to me, this only depends on what is easiest) should be neutered (temporarily, of course) then everyone can go have all the sex they want and not run the risk of a pregnancy. and then at long last when everyone is a bit more mature and in a healthy financial state they can apply to be unneutered. thus allowing them to have all the children they want (unless of course should their license be revoked) & thus, the problem is solved. i think it'd work. anyways quote of the day- "the goat with a thousand children"

harvey danger and music_man

okay so last night i went to bed at 6 am. which was fun in all but i got up at two o'clock in teh afternoon, kinda threw away half my day. I blame cameron and coby for this. mainly beacsue if i stay up past three there is no hope for sleep unitll (you know once i got marked off a point on a spelling test for spelling the word "until" like "untill" but the stupid thing is that you can spell until both ways. most people have a preference but it doesnt matter to me either way. beacuse of it ambiguity until, it gets to be the word of the day) dawn. well anyways cameron and coby left me at three to fend for myself till dawn... i spent almost three full hours just listening to music. I came across the song Flagpoll somthing or another by Harvey Danger. i used to love that song as a kid but now i need to look up the lyrics cuz i just picked up some underlying inuendos... the song is still as funny as hell though. then i found the song "Runaway Train" and that seems like a mad old song. i like it though, there's one part that goes "Like a madman laughing at the rain" i just like the image it provokes, a crazy old white haired man just pointing up, as the rain pelts him in the face, laughing his ass off. but then after that i fell asleep till bout two in the afternoon. and did nothing the rest of the day until about 8 or 9. got together with some friends and watched office space. i love that movie. its like my whole life philosophy summed up in one 2 hour film. then surprise, surprise cameron was online. we talked for... well i dont know exactly how long we will have talked for because we're still just IMing. a weird thing happened though. i asked about peter because i remember tiff telling me that he was all different than he used to be and cameron apparently doesnt think highly of him. Infact i dont think i have ever refer to someone in such derogatory terms in a non joking manner... slightly odd. he didnt tell me why he doesnt like him... but now hes just provoked my curiosity. short post today... but im starting to wonder y i should even bother. no one visits my blog. i could pour my lifes secrets out and no one would read them... thats not a bad idea! someday i the near distant future i should write everything i would normally not want people to know and see if anyone actaully reads it! oy... but not today, im tired... "Come take a ride with me, we can go anywhere. See anything." -music_man (the guy who wrote that was an old correspondent of mine, he was online today... thats what reminded me of this quote)

7/21/05

not too much happened today, despite the fact that i actaully i got out of my house, w00t! (whoa... random question, if all computer geeks spell the word "woot" like "w00t" beacuse they want to be all l337, why isnt is spelled "w007?") anyways i cleaned my room, which took hours, not because it was really messy but because i slacked so much and spent most of the time listening music. and then i went to the movies. it doesnt seem possible that anyone could have wasted an entire day doing just that, but when you wake up at the crack of noon the day goes by a lot faster... ever think that when you're all old, wrinkled up, and know that the end is nigh (nigh gets to be the word of the day) that you'll wish that you could have all of these wasted days back? hmm... makes me feel slightly panicy. Anyways, to a less startling topic, the movie, yes. we had planned to see wedding crashers but then kalyn explained how raunchy it was and annie and nora and tiff and possibly others, i dont really remember, decided they wanted to see charlie and the chocolate factory. i didnt care either way, i was just glad to get out of my house. lets see, kalyn, nora, tiff, annie, monica (who i'd never met), cameron, coby, egan, and jon were there. it wasnt a bad time... but going to the movies isnt an ideal place to hang out as you are obliged to sit quietly in a seat and stare at a screen... it was also kinda weird, i hadnt seen cameron or egan since 8th grade, and hadnt seen coby since last summer, and had never seen jon at all. its weird that you can talk to all these people freely online but when its in person everyone just branches off to talk to the people they know best. which totally defeated the purpose because i can talk to kalyn, annie, tiff, or nora in person any ole day... part of it was my fault, at heart i am a naturally shy person, something i hope to rid myself of. i definitely plan to be more social next time we get together. the actually movie wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. i still maintain that johnny depp is instinctively creepy and therefore it only follows that the movie would be slightly creepy. but it had its funny parts, and plus me and tiff talking made it all the better (random interruption, listening to disturbed's "the sickness" what do you think his mom would think if she was in the audience to hear him play? that would lead to some akward quesitons i imagine...) so on a whole it was a fine way to spend my wednesday evening. lets see after the movie i had to go home. before dropping tiffany off i showed her my room. Its a small room, but its not bad looking. its a light-grayish blue on the walls and dark blue on the celeling. there is blue fuzz on the edge between where the wall and the celeing meet. in the fuzz are blue christmas lights. and on my celeing are those cheap sticky glow-in-the-dark stars, so basially my room is always glowing. after that i went online in an almost habitual way and talked to cameron, coby, jon, kalyn, and annie till about three. i was pretty surprised, i was sure that when me and kalyn started talking about what type of tampons we prefer, coby and cameron would feel pretty uncomfortable. but they held up nicely. then cameron claimed he had work in the morning so he left and on principal i felt it was time to go to... i should go to leslies and bug him tomorrow, it'd be fun. No! better yet i should go to one of those all night extreme computer things and really have a chance to drive him crazy! plus it'd annoy my brother to no end to have his sister there, killing two birds with one stone! hmmm... my life has go to be pretty sad if i get this exited about annoying the few people who tolerate me. on a less depressing note, my lips feel funny. its kinda feels like when your foot falls asleep, but only on your lips. thats gotta be pretty weird, maybe im having an alergic reaction to something? that would suck, thus far im not alergic to anything, i'd hate for that to change. anyways i cant think of anything else that happened so i guess i'll be going. wow, it 4:10, i should get some sleep.

first real post

okay so my first post wasnt exactly real, mainly because cameron tells me that for a blog it was way incredibly short... lets see from other blogs that i have read, and thats not many, people just seem to write whatever happened to them that day. This is a problem you see, for me, because i literally do n-o-t-h-i-n-g (emphasis on the nothing) all day long... i could have called my friends and actaully done something today, but whats the point? it would take to much planning (which would be pointless anyways beacuse someone would bail out and it will all have been for naught... hmmm, 'naught' is the new word of the day) and besides i am actaully going out tomorrow, a rare thing for me, going to see the wedding crashers. anyone reading this is probably going with, if your not its because you werent online at whatever time we decided this yesterday (or was it two days ago?) but you could proabably just show up, its not like its a really planned thing. the movie is a 7:30 at AMC 30. so basically my boardom is my own fault... im just too lazy. lets see, i watched my first episode of sponge bob square pants today, and was immediately reminded why i was never sucked into it like most... its just a little creepy. i cant explain why. it jsut was. then i went swimming, which wasnt bad because it wasnt to hot out. and then i cant really remember what else i did for the rest of the day... it jsut one big blank, maybe i have epilepsy, i think that epileptics have random times throughout the day when they just space out. but whatever moving on i then went to this one website diaryproject.com and just looked around for the hell of it. Then i began to read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged (im pretty excited, everyone says its her best). this, for some reason or another, lead me and my mom to talking about whether i would go to hell or not for running down a mom and an infant during a riot (converstation inspired by War of the Worlds) i think i could conceivably do it. i mean (random, unrelated interuption... my sister just got back from chicago!) if the lady was too stupid and too in shock to move when a two ton car comes hurtiling at her, how is she suppose to get over the shock of seeing a gigantic tripod coming down her street? infact i would probably being doing her a favor, its much more...uh... convienent to die by car crash then captured by aliens and have your blood sucked out, right? anyways after this i went into another blank period until the simpsons came on. thats prolly the only show i make an effort to watch. i just love them, even though ive seen almost every episode. anyways after this i talked to cameron about absolutely nothing. and got my blog up, w00t! then i randomly decided to see if i was 'googlable' turns out that the first response to my search came up with a pornstar... i was slightly trauamtized, but i think i'll get over it. anyways... it still seems like a pretty short entry, but im tired of typing... lets see, cameron and i think coby too, put quotes on here. i dunno that many quotes, but i do have a collection of random lines from books, stories, songs, or poems that i like (there almost never exact though). that seems as good as any quote... "Unless of course, your teeth still grow after your dead." Well thats it, gracias para leerlo. :)

my first entry!

Yay! its my first entry w00t for me! hmm... nothing really interesting to say. but i really wanna see if this first post actually worked. so i think im gonna end it... yes definitely ending it now.
